ARMA International Extends Grace Period for Members!

In response to the economic effects of the COVID-19 crisis, ARMA International has extended the grace period past its usual 60-day grace period for members who have lost their jobs or have been furloughed.  The Northern Virginia chapter fully supports this measure and urges its members for whom this applies to take advantage of this change in policy.  Any request a chapter member makes to ARMA International to extend their grace period will be automatically honored.  Also, email addresses and other profile changes are always updated in our membership list.  Stay with ARMA/Northern Virginia chapter and keep your acccess to local networks and resources!

We are in this together. While our April renewals remained high, we realize that some ARMA members have lost their jobs or have been furloughed but need to maintain access to their ARMA network and ARMA resources.

The Board of Directors has approved an extension of our current 60-day grace period. Our policy in response to COVID’s impact is now: Members who are unemployed or furloughed due to the COVID-19 crisis will be granted an additional two month membership-renewal grace period (from the current 60 days), upon written request via email.

Members will receive this extension information in their renewal notices and can update their records to a personal email address.

Please help us to let members who have been laid off or furloughed know that they may update their records with a personal email address at any time, even if their renewal is not coming up. Depending on their renewal date, ARMA will apply the same policy.
