FREE Social event for all ARMA NOVA members!

We are all getting overwhelmed with TMI, much of it pushed at us, some of it at our request. It’s hard to discern the signal from the noise. Join your chapter meeting colleagues in an informal discussion of how to evaluate the accuracy of information sources. There will be no presentation; a couple of ARMA NOVA board members will start the ball rolling with a few ideas, at which time all are welcome to join in – or feel free to join the event and just listen!

How have you navigated the challenges of finding the “right” information when conducting Internet searches, or making sure that you don’t click on links to fake data or phishing links? How have you managed competing social media postings on COVID-19, the election, and other hot social issues? What’s real and what isn’t?

As part of the discussion you’ll be presented with a statement or a headline and will be asked whether you think it’s true. It will be a great way to stimulate more discussion! This will also be an excellent opportunity for chapter members to touch base with one another after a long hiatus from face-to-face meetings. We miss seeing you in person; we’d love to see your faces in a virtual meeting!

The event will not be recorded – you must be present to participate!
